First, I have to start by saying that Gordini is awesome. The shipping and tracking and ordering process were superb and deserve 5 stars. The gloves, however, I was disappointed. I purchased a pair of Gordini gloves around 12 years ago. They are a type of synthetic inside and they are the warmest gloves I have ever worn. I used them only for blowing snow and having with when traveling so they lasted past my expectations. Unfortunately, they are starting to fall apart so I immediately looked for a new pair. The pair I have doesn't appear to be manufactured anymore so I read through the site to find my next perfect pair. When I saw that the Gauntlet were their warmest gloves, I immediately hit purchase. When I received them, I was disappointed to find that even being an XL, they are kind of tight. The interior of the glove is a wool design that I've never been super fond of. They also come with wrist straps that would be great if I were needing to take my gloves off and never lose them but get in the way for what I need. As far as warmth I am unsure of as our temperatures have climbed into the 20's and I haven't had to blow snow since receiving them. I fear that they won't be as warm because of the tightness. I believe that my last pair were so warm because they weren't super tight on my hands. Maybe they will be fine, only time will tell.
Again, Gordini is a great company and I will not hesitate to purchase from them again. Just disappointed with the glove design that I chose.
