Glove Technology

Waterproof

AquaBloc® is our proprietary waterproof, windproof, breathable technology. Engineered exclusively for hand wear, our seam-sealed AquaBloc® inserts allow moisture molecules to escape without letting water molecules in. It is the best of both worlds: let your sweaty hands breath while staying warm and dry.

Our waterproof Dri-Max® inserts provide optimal protection in cold and wet conditions.

GORE-TEX® technology keeps water out of our gloves, while allowing moisture from the inside (perspiration) to easily escape. The result is a glove that’s highly breathable and totally waterproof. The microporous structure of the GORE-TEX® membrane is what makes GORE-TEX® products completely water proof. Each microscopic pore is about 20,000 times.

Down Insulation

THINDOWN® brings the insulating advantages of conventional down into a simple, versatile, and streamlined textile. Lightweight, soft and breathable, this innovative cut and sew fabric provides uniform coverage that promises performance. THINDOWN® is an active insulation, helping retain and regulate natural body temperature. Proven to be 2 times warmer than the equivalent down fill and 4 times warmer than polyfill. Available in different weights and sourced solely from traceable and responsible down, RDS or GRS certified. OEKO-Tex certified to meet transparency standards for a more sustainable future for our health and our planet.

Downtek® DownTek™ Water Repellent Down is down that has been treated with water-repellent-nano-treatment. A proprietary application method instead of a bath treatment is used, thereby eliminating waste run-off. Gordini supports the Responsible Down Standard in our use of down.

Synthetic Insulation

PrimaLoft® insulation was originally developed for the U.S. Army as a water-resistant, synthetic alternative to down. Today, the brand is recognized as a benchmark in the outdoor industry for providing unsurpassed comfort in any condition. PrimaLoft, Inc. is active in sustainable textile production through partnerships with the bluesign® system, the International OEKO-TEX® Association, the Sustainable Apparel Coalition’s Higg Index, and the Global Recycled Standard.

Polartec® Thermal Pro advances fleece fashion with new knit structure for the most diverse style options without sacrificing performance. Technical fiber compositions maintain a soft texture and air pockets for thermoregulation and breathability. The adapted look and feel delivers the warmth and comfort of classic fleece. Knit with premium polyester yarns, Thermal Pro is cozy, resilient and stylish.

Megaloft® offers a reliable and durable alternative to down. This synthetic insulation retains its loft minimizing bulk but promising superior, lightweight, warmth. Water-resistant and versatile, Megaloft insulation provides distinct protection and comfort.

Fiber Tech

A patented weave combining the inherent insulating properties of wool with synthetics that wick moisture away from your skin. The warmth of wool with the wicking comfort of fleece.

Reload Magnetic Lens Interchange System

With the reload magnetic lens interchange system, quickly remove lens and replace with a magnetic click.

Outrigger Helmet Compatibility System

Safety shouldn’t be secondary to performance and comfort. Gordini® Outrigger Helmet Compatibility System utilizes hinged outriggers to fit any helmet profile, providing a superior goggle seal, while distributing pressure evenly across the face. The outriggers lay flat when not in use, so you can wear any Helmet Compatible goggle with or without the helmet.

Air Flow Design - AFD®

Gordini® takes the fight against fog seriously— our mission is to deliver the maximum optical experience so you can take your skills further. Our Air Flow Design maximizes air circulation throughout the goggle, using vents in the lens and frame to constantly scoop out moisture, keeping your field of vision dry and fog-free. Hiking the pipe or into the backcountry, or just lapping the lift, AFD® equals uncompromised performance.

Gordini® Venting System - GVS

Fogging happens when there is a lot of humidity in the air. Gordini® Venting System (GVS) keeps the inner lens warm and dry all day long.

Feet Forward

The human foot is an anatomical wonder. A complex structure designed to absorb and distribute the forces exerted on our bodies in motion and constantly adjust to carry us over uneven surfaces. 26 bones, 33 joints, over 100 muscles, tendons, and ligaments, 8,000 nerves, and 250,000 sweat glands, all working to provide balance, stability, and sensation through movement.

At Gordini, we've spent decades thinking about small pieces of gear that make big impacts. We took what we knew about our hands and got curious about our feet. The more we thought about them, the clearer it became that socks have not kept pace with progress.
Outdoor gear is constantly evolving. Boots. Base layers. Gloves. The whole kit has gotten smarter. But socks? They stayed the same. Same construction, same compromises, same complacency.

That had to change. So we made socks.

Performance that Surrounds

OrbitFit™ fuses performance fibers in anatomically mapped 3D zones for a lighter, drier, better foot feel.

Quilted Airforms
Zonal Climate Control
Linear Wicking Channels
Responsive Stretch
Merino Wool

Combing soft Merino Wool and Coolmax® EcoMade Fiber for moisture-wicking cooling performance next-to-foot.

Nylon

REPREVE® yarns made from recycled content, including plastic bottles, and reinforced Nylon for durability on the exterior.

Built with intention.

We set out to do better. We make deliberate choices about materials, construction, and what "performance" actually means for people who spend their lives moving in the mountains.

OrbitFit™ socks are purpose-built for an active life. That means prioritizing comfort and durability over shortcuts, and thinking about how a sock performs on mile one the same way we think about mile twenty. Gear that holds up is just better. For you and for our planet. Full stop.

We're a small brand that cares about doing this right. Not perfectly. Just honestly, and always feet
forward.
