I live in Minnesota, where we often have sub zero temps, and these are the best mittens (choppers to Minnesotans) that I’ve had. If you lave them in the truck, they’re still warm when you put them on. They’re superior to gloves as your fingers stay considerably warmer.
I’ve been snowboarding for over 15 years and these Gordini mittens are the best I’ve ever had. They are long which keeps snow from getting into your wrist area, the thick elastic strap that keeps the mittens attached to you is super convenient, I can have my liners cold and wet and as soon as I put them back in my mittens they’re warm again. All around amazing!
The Gordini Radiator Mitts feels great putting them on, and your hands will feel very cozy in them. The downside is that they're not very good at keeping hands warm. Just walking early morning for an hour here in Tucson, they're okay down to 40 degrees, but your hands will get progressively colder as the temperature drops. They're very expensive mitts for what they do, and especially for what they don't do -- keeping your hands warm.
I work as a race official for ski racing competitions. These mitts are warm and well constructed. I'll get new ones more often as I found that my old mitts were warm out and the insulation was compacted.
I'm very impressed that your customer service helped me return the wrong size and get the correct one! Bravo
